Events in Nacka Strand during Volvo Ocean Race Week

This week is without a doubt one of the most exciting during the summer of 2009. For the first time in history Stockholm hosts a Volvo Ocean Race Stop Over.

Nacka Strand Sail Arena is one of the best spectator spots along the water and from here there is a variety of events to take part in. Among other things we proudly presents a photo exhibition where five of the worlds best action photographers will show a selection of historic Whitbread and Volvo Ocean Race photos.

Tieto are making a big stop in Nacka Strand with both exhibition trailer and their Class 40 sailing boat called Tieto Passion. One of the great HIGH LIGHTS is when The Green Dragon Race Team visits Nacka Strand to sail with those who wish to join the action with a professional team.

On top of this we send filmed material from Volvo Ocean Race on a Big Screen right outside of Restaurant J, open for all who likes to join in.
